The Archive is the beginning.
The form is a choice.
Four proposed programs. A shared commitment to provenance, consent and evidence.
The Archive
A genome. A voice. A life in its own words.

A proposed service combining genome sequencing and banking with original recordings, writing, photographs and video. Members would help shape the record while they are alive. Family access, privacy and succession belong in the design from the beginning.
Established component methods. Death X service not yet operational.
The Culture
A living form, chosen in advance.

A research concept for a contained culture carrying a selected, consented genomic signature. The broader proposal to transform human remains through engineered yeast has not been demonstrated by the evidence indexed here. Viability, containment and a legal pathway must be established.
Experimental concept. No memory or consciousness transfer demonstrated.
The Grove
A memorial in a living landscape.

A proposed tree-based memorial with long-term land stewardship. Burial and natural organic reduction have existing precedents in specific settings. Adding engineered organisms to soil is a separate research and authorization question.
Concept stage. Site, method and permissions are unresolved.
The Reef
A place within a marine ecosystem.

A proposed marine memorial informed by artificial-reef research. Materials, treatment of remains, ecological effects and placement permissions must be defined. The ordinary federal burial-at-sea general permit does not authorize artificial reef placement.
Concept stage. No Death X installation is approved or operating.
The options describe the company’s development direction. They are not currently available for purchase. All illustrations are concept artwork, not validated designs. New evidence and legal review may change their design.
