Founder / Washington, DC

Christopher Hill.
One question worth pursuing.

What can a person choose to carry forward?

Christopher Hill founded Death X to explore an alternative approach to legacy: preserve a genome and the record of a life, then investigate new forms of biological memorial.

Christopher also founded MaxwellX. Read his MaxwellX founder profile.

The ambition spans several disciplines. The website brings those disciplines together so that anyone can inspect the research, understand its limits and find the underlying tools and data.

Death X is in development. The research catalog includes work by independent scientists and institutions; their inclusion does not imply involvement with the company. No laboratory partnership, scientific advisory appointment or product validation is represented here.

A company built in the open.

The next work is concrete: specify the Archive, obtain independent scientific review, establish the legal and trust structure, and test whether the Culture can meet a defensible definition of success.
